St. Peter's is the oldest recorded parish church in Munich and presumably the originating point for the whole city. Prominent and majestic, it will bring peace to a hurried sense opf the world outside the church walls. Enter and be at peace momentarily. Late Saturday...More

St Peters Church is a gorgeous place to visit, located with old town Munich. It's within walking distance of several other "must see" places. The church is very welcoming to visitors.

It’s amazing that one city can have so many gorgeous churches in close prosimity to each other. It’s almost overwhelming. Be sure to visit as many as you can.

It will take 299 narrow stairs to take you to the most beautiful view of the city of munich and its worth climbing up. You will need to pay Two Euros at the gate

We were most impressed with the scale and beauty exhibited inside this lovely Roman Catholic Cathedral. The churches we visited in Germany and Austria were magnificent and St. Peter's is up there amongst the best.

Not a huge church, but I loved the colors inside -- pink and gold. Very pretty. Definitely take a look.

The outside of the church does not match the beauty of the inside of the church. Don’t miss the skeleton of St. Munditia in the box, second chapel on the left from the back.

The stairs to the tower were closed for construction but were supposed to open mid June. Great big church with lots of art and beautiful icons. A definite place to see. You don’t have to stay long and it is right off of Marienplatz behind...More

Visiting this church is a must. The gold leaf covered carvings and immense arches make for some beautiful photographs.
