My husband and I visited Austria and Germany to celebrate his 50th birthday. The trip was a bucketlist item complete with Oktoberfest and the Cinderella castle! On our first day, we completed Rick Steves Munich walking tour. This was one of the may beautiful sites.
Sits right in the center of Marienplatz. There is also a good restaurant in the basement of the building. The Glockenspiel daily event takes place in this building usually at mid day. This is worth seeing.
