Hundreds of thousands of people visit BMW's four-cilinder BMW tower and the bowl-shaped museum next to it each year. The museum showcases the technical development of cars and motorcycles and also has some exhibits about the history of the company. Many old cars and motorcycles are on display along a spiral ramp that curls along the inside of the bowl-shaped building.

BMW museum in Munich is a perfect place to go before or after a tour of the Olympic tower “turm”. They are next door to each other. The museum is interesting, with cars nicely displayed. The cafe is great.

f you like cars, you should go to this museum. The collection of BMW cars is great and the museum is well organized. So you can understand the history of the company from its beginning till today. Don’t miss this museum.

While there's nothing bad to say about it, I do not understand why this is considered one of main attractions of Munich. Nothing out of the ordinary or overly fascinating. probably a matter of personal taste.

This was a great place to visit. My teens, son 14 and daughter 12, were totally amazed by the amount of cars and bikes that were in this museum. Really a great family trip.

I went to the BMW museum thinking that it would be similar to other car museums like the Ford museum in US. The museum has numerous exhibitions about the company’s history, about the cars and each of their specific parts. The upper part of the...More

Yes. No bags were allowed in the museum if I'm not mistaken. Cameras and cell phones were allowed. They had lockers that required a 1 euro deposit. You get the deposit back when you go to get your stuff. Very convenient
