Hundreds of thousands of people visit BMW's four-cilinder BMW tower and the bowl-shaped museum next to it each year. The museum showcases the technical development of cars and motorcycles and also has some exhibits about the history of the company. Many old cars and motorcycles are on display along a spiral ramp that curls along the inside of the bowl-shaped building.

Even if you aren't a car person, this museum is well work visiting. The interior design is sleek and beautiful. I took so many photos inside. They also have this amazing perpetual motion sculpture that is mesmerizing to watch. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy...More

Assume this is Mecca for BMW fans, but I'm afraid that some will be disappointed as it's not as impressive as it could be and possible people expect. 10-15 cars and maybe the same amount of motorcycles.....at least I expected more. What you see is...More

Is very interesting for men mainly. Also visit auto salon. Ticket price was 10 euro. Cafes and bars are quite expensive there and food is not very tasty

Every kind of BMW you can image is in this museum. Of course, it's one big ad for BMW, but the history of their cars is long and involved. Lots of good stories and demonstrations from the guides with both old and concept cars. Don't...More

It is a refreshing experience as it was a while since last time I visited this museum. It is still world class in exhibition design with very innovative ways to display a story and not just historical items. Both the old and the new sections...More

Heaps of exhibits from motorcycles and aircraft engines to race cars. The museum is well laid out and interactive in sections. The cars are restored to an amazing standard. Lockers are free and admission wasn’t too expensive. Better than the BMW Welt which is across...More

The BMW Museum met and exceeded my expectations. The building itself looks space age and way before its time. It is so modern and spectacular inside it is hard to explain to someone that has never been there. The newest BMWs are on display along...More

This museum is a fun museum if you like cars and bikes. We saw Porsche and Mercedes in Stuttgart, so this museum was just another one for the list....but if you like cars, I recommend it. 3 hours is sufficient time.
