We went to do the nearby via ferrata and couldn't miss the chance to ride the coaster back down. We queued for perhaps 15 mins before we got our turn. We had two adults in the same coaster and it flies down!

Amazing scenery as you control your speed down a fixed rail track that seems about 3 miles long. It takes about 15 minutes to ride the lift up but just about 4mins to descend and feels very safe and secure the whole way down. Even...More

This place is a must if you visit the area. The ride up the mountain and the roller coaster down the hill were amazing. My kids loved it!!! The view going uphill is astonishing!

This coaster is so much fun. Our whole family enjoyed it. If you have any adrenaline junkies in the family and you making them visit Oberammergau for the culture then definitely bribe them with a ride on the coaster followed by an ice cream in...More

This was so fun! Pay for parking in lot and walk to chairlift. Buy tickets. 33 euros for my three kids to ride. Operator speaks English. Worth it to buy two rides. My teenage kids are still talking about this.

2.5 kilometer coaster where you control the speed. Would have done the three trip pass but did not have enough time. Only downside this Sunday is that it was crowded.

For safety reasons it is not possible. There are only two seats, both at the chairlift and at the alpine coaster, each adult can only ride with one child. Children can go alone from 8 years and 135 cm body height
