We took this in as part of our visit to the Berghof ruins and the documentation centre. It was fascinating to see the underground complex, more or less as it remained after the war. There was also a sense of ‘having been there’ which was...More

Although it was closed for refurbishment when we visited the area, it was still very impressive to see especially given thew history of the region. I'll be going back when the tunnels are open again as they are a must see.

While visiting in this region I was informed these bunkers will be closed indefinitely due to pressure from the government to close. I was told the government is concerned the site will attract “the wrong kind of people.” I’m not sure how visiting this site...More

Cost 7 Euros for 2 adults and 2 kids to go in and see the bunkers, fascinating to explore. We were the only ones in there. Guy on reception was very helpful and gave us directions to the Berghof. Absolutely worth a visit.

Perhaps we got lucky, but on our mid-day, weekday visit in October, 2017, when the Eagles Nest and the other bunker entrance at the Documentation Center were flooded with tourists, we spent about an hour in this bunker complex undisturbed and alone. It felt like...More

After visiting the Documentation Centre and seeing the bunkers there we visited these bunkers. The bunkers are very interesting. At one time they connected Hitler's house with some of the other big name Nazi's who also had homes in the area. The tunnel to Hitler's...More

The detailed engineering of the Third Reich comes alive with a trip to the WWII bunkers. Just on the other side (sort of down the hill) of the Documentation Center you see and experience the labyrinth of Nazi bunkers. The bunkers of so extensive you...More
