Take a boot and go to the Herreninseln, there you can walk around, take a carriage or just sit down by a beer and enjoy the island.

Beautiful clear lake. Take a boat trip to Fraueninsel and Herreninsel and enjoy the beautiful views. Have lunch, walk around the island and visit the convent on Frauen insel. Visit king Ludwig II Schloss Herrenchiemsee at Herreninsel. Easy walks so very suitable for kids.
