The central street is full of shops and lots of bars to chil with a beer and listen to one of the many buskers on the street. If you want to watch people as you sip your beer this is the place.

This pedestrian friendly street is a lively and pretty area to shop or take a break and people watch. On weekends, when the suns out, people are out in droves. You can also checkout the fountain on Schlossplatz and the Jubiläumssäule (pillar) near the palace.

On a sunny day it’s the coolest place to hangout for picnic or take down a few cold beers. Lovely and peaceful when I visited, lots of people chilling out. Worth another visit.

A great walk, not only due to the shopping which is typical as in most German cities, but also the sights that are along the way. Better than some stuffy mall....
