This was a great way to view Baden-Baden from a mountain top overlooking the valley. It was my first ever ride in a funicular, and seeing the hang gliders go by at eye level was an extra treat. Great thing to do while waiting for...More

Merkur Mountain is a highlight of Baden Baden. The funicular ride was great. The view of the area was breathtaking. Good place to chill out and just observe nature.

Do not miss a visit to the Merkur mountain. Go to the Top with the Merkur bergbahn and enjoy spectacular views over Baden-Baden and the surrounding countryside. Visit the tower and get an even better 360 degree view. A brilliant place indeed!

I would say about 1 hour and 30 minutes and just looked at Google maps and it thinks about the same. It's well sign posted so easy to find.
