Things which may be helpful: 1) 2 Euros each way, and departs often daily 10:00-22:00; 2) Catch the #204/#205 bus from the city center and ride 10-15 minutes through an upscale neighborhood to the base of the mountain; 3) The funicular goes to the 2,000...More

Went here on our first day in Baden-Baden and we had a lovely time. The view was beautiful and there is a lovely caffe on the top where they have a variety of main dishes, desserts and a good beer selection.

You can reach here quite easily by bus then take the funiclar train up and down the mountain. You could also just take it up the mountain then walk down, if you fancy some hiking. The view going up isn't too amazing, but at the...More

This little cog type train climbs steeply up the hillside overlooking Baden. Unfortunately for us there was a smoggy haze over the region. Paragliders jump off from here and soar. It was a nice relaxing thing to do. Mountain bikers make the climb and then...More

Visiting friends they suggested a trip to the top of the railway, wow it blew my mind. It’s so steep and magnificent views from the top. Well worth the trip.

Get the cable car to top and experience some of the most breath taking views for miles around. We were lucky enough to see paragliders setting off. The cafe at the top serves good food at reasonable prices.
