My wife was interested in looking at this so I went with her. Although spectacular to look at I couldn't help but think how much inequality objects found in this museum represent. Talk about haves and have nots.

A collection that is probably very valuable, but little or no information about each object. We were told an English speaking guide would explain the display, but 1 guide for all the visitors was impractical and she spent half the time in the gift shop...More

I was happy to spend an hour in the museum, although I did think admission was quite expensive( reduction for 60+). There are 3 sections with the first floor housing the most interesting collections in my opinion. However, I did find the story of gold...More

I'm glad I stopped in today. The admission price is on the high side, but it's understandable once you take your time and take in this private collection. I made the mistake and said something flippant about the Tzar's family treasures having been "stolen." I...More

I was expecting to see lots of beautiful eggs, but left very disappointed after seeing only two eggs. Very small museum, but a very big entrance fee. Not worth the money

If you are deeply interested in all types of Faberge production, maybe this is for you, but even then the price of 18 Euro per adult is very high for a small museum. If you expect to see lots of elaborate eggs and other jewellery...More
