Obviously some of our predecessors expect bells and whistles. This is a beautiful, calm space. It has an austere grandeur that should not fail to impress. There are also some interesting, if barely accessible, capitals and an interesting west portal.

Valance itself is not that much and neither is the cathedral. We visited the city for about 2 hours but were not impressed.

We visited here to look round as tourists, then returned for the Sunday morning Mass. Calm and peaceful interior and time to sit and reflect.

A nice cathedral with an interesting position within the old city of Valence. The view from the sourrounding square is very pretty also.

We visited this cathedral as the sun was rising. The feeling was a mazing as the sun shone through the stained glass windows and filled the church with light and apparitions. The is truly an experience not to miss.
