We went up by funicular late, and we bought return tickets for the same day. Loved the views of the city below and the lit up church Nd TV tower and took lots of pics. By the time we were done ( maybe 30 min)...More

Came here on one of the good weather days. From the top of the hill you can enjoy spectacular views. Used the funicular to get to the top but i think you can also walk.

Enjoyed the views and sites we visited, went up the stairs about 12 -15 minutes and down the park/ garden route. Wear comfortable shoes.

Smooth walk down the hill with a beautiful gorgeous amazing views and the rose garden, AH! Trully amazing and gorg. You gotta go with yo boo! Must see in Lyon.

You must take the fanicular up the hill then a bus to Notre Dame where the view of the city is amazing on a clear day.

Sorry we didn't eat up there but you can easily get the funicular down to the old town only takes 10 minutes or so where there are dozens of restaurants!

Same answer as above as it`s quiet steep but if it folds you can fit it on the funicular. Good luck.
