We didn't go to this attraction until our second trip to Old Annecy and were glad you made the choice to go. Spend some time online researching this history gem and you will get a lot more out of this smaller (personal) tour. This changed...More

This was a really atmospheric and picturesque little scene - and deservedly popular. Bought ourselves some coffee and ice cream and sat around and absorbed it all before going to explore... a must visit if in the region.

You may feel like in Venice, many flowers, the channel is clean and you can walk around it very easily. Many places for shoping souvenirs, for eating or drinking a coffee.

Pretty disappointed with this. Hardly any info in English and need more info about the prison and it's prisoners. Not a must see at all. Just admire the outside. If you speak French you might get more out of it.

I love medieval buildings so this was no exception. It functioned as a prison at some time. Interesting to walk around. doesn't take too long either.

It happened to be some kind of special heritage day when we were in Annecy and as a result the buses and also all the museums were free, We might not otherwise have gone into this museum, The Palais d'Ile, located right in the river...More

The Palais de l'Ile is the pointy building on the river, which everyone who has ever looked up Annecy on the internet has seen. It is ubiquitous. However, behind those imposing walls is a truly fascinating building, with some very interesting exhibits. Compared to the...More
