This museum has an interesting description of Van Gogh and his art but no works of this artist are hanging there. We got to see an excelent show of Bernard Buffet in the 1950's. Very interesting.

The temporary Bernard Buffet exhibit is interesting but somber, with paintings that are darker in nature. The Albert Gleize paintings are nice and the Van Gogh overview is also worth the time with a good documentary that shows current scenery and his work.

Fantastic art museum in the center of St Remy. Don't miss the 15 minute Van Gogh film in the back. The Andre Marchand exhibit is outstanding.

A review and copies of Van Goghs painting done very well . There was an exhibit of Andre Marchand paintings that were terrific . He obviously influenced Picasso .we knew vert little about him and were thus fascinated by his works.

A beautiful venue, with a great exhibition of art. While not a great art enthusiast this was special and the movie about Van Gough's life and art was special and entertaining. Not sure if it costs anything as it was national historic day and accordingly...More

I visited Musee Estrine recently and enjoyed my visit thoroughly. It had a lot of information about Vincent Van Gogh and their permanent collection helped to provide context on his influences and who he influenced. There was also a Mario Prassinos exhibit, which was extensive...More

Although none of Van Gogh's original works are housed here, the exhibit does provide a very good introduction to his work, and his time in Saint-Remy-de-Provence and Arles. Letters to his brother Theo and family members bring him to life. The short movie was also...More
