Came here when on a tour with Royal Carribean. This place is absolutely stunning! A real must see when in Marseille. Came here with my baby and no issues with mobility.

We took the tram to get there and it truly has the WOW factor. It had a wonderfully calming atmosphere. The steps up to the top can be hard going, but once there the view is outstanding. Well worth a visit!

Marseille is a beautiful port city. We were fortunate enough to spend some time at this monument in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille, France. The statues high above, as you stand at the bottom and look up, are awe inspiring. It takes you back to...More

Having read mixed reviews, it was great to see the Palais Longchamp up close and personal. It exceeded expectations and provided a magnificent photo opportunity too. There was some graffiti but that did't really detract from the aesthetic experience. Wee got there easily and back...More

Massive flowing fountains and gleaming white sculpture set in a green lush lawn-like setting evoke Roman gods and mythology. This was a totally spectacular fountain complex. It was started in 1839 and finished 30 years later. There had been a zoo which closed in 1987....More

This is off the main tourist route, but well worth a visit. You can easily walk from the harbor and that, in itself, is interesting. This was built to celebrate the canal that brought water to Marseille and is over the top amazing. There is...More

To get here you must pass through some less savory areas of Marseille, but worth the cab ride for sure

If time is short with being only to see a handful of sites while in Marseille, make sure Palais Longchamp is at the top of the list. It is a beautiful monument commemorating the arrival of water to the city, via the Marseille Canal. The...More

A very mixed review. This is a cheap tram ride from near to the old port where we were staying and the tram ride was great. Rather than get off at the tram stop near to the Palais we decided to go one stop further...More

Thank you, Jas, for your response. We will take tram to go to Notre Dam Cathedral, and then back to old town. Probably will be able to find another tram or metro to go to Palais Longchamp at Vieux Port. Thanks again.
