The arc is nicely placed in a (sort of) roundabout. Easy to access on crosswalks and easy parking just beside the roundabout. No matter which time a day you come, you'll find the arc in favorable lighting from one side or another. Free entrance!
Take a photo from the outside of the circle, then walk up to the arch to see the details. One side is clearly wind/sand damaged, and the other with extraordinary detail. Under the arch, look up to see the geometric designs carved into the stone.
Once part of the city walls protecting the ancient town, it now stands free an easy 10 minutes walk north of the old city. The details of the carvings are quite well preserved and it is worth the short walk to experience this old structure.
