We came across this covered street quite by accident as we were wandering. A small sign catching our attention and causing us to divert; coming out at the top we saw no signs, so it can be easily missed. We are glad we did venture...More

The rue is ancient and worth having a quick look at. Much of it appears to be in original condition except they have put some mesh stuff across the ceiling to prevent the little bits of debris from falling off the ceiling. Fascinating if you...More

Just happen to fall on this place while walking, kind of strange place but after talking to people, we better understood the historical significance of this street. Not sure I would have made a detour to see it but happy we did.

It is a quick walk through these tunnels and not much to rave about, just nice to see. some people have spray painted things on the walls which spoils it a bit.

One can only imagine the interesting history of this place. Because there is no information there to bring it to life. It is easy to get to and worth doing for the 5 minutes it takes to say you have seen it.

Classic mediterranean harbour town back alley with tunnel beneath the buildings ! These towns were built on hillsides with space at a premium .

Just pop through an arch at the harbour between two restaurants and you start on the upward journey. Travel up and you will find cross streets. The top of which has the local shops.

I am not disputing the historical significance of Rue Obscure and it is different but should not be a listed as an attraction.
