Visited Arles to see the famous places Van Gogh painted. The walk is great: you see lots of the city and come across lots of famous 'paintings'. Loved the history of this place. Also be sure to check the surroundings and the quay side /...More

If you follow the directions on the Tourisme pamphlet, you don't need a guide and could probably do it much faster.

While the are no Van Gogh works on display here. You can visit the areas he painted. The walk encompasses some Roman ruins and is very photographic and the tour shows you were to eat and shop.

Interesting to see where Van Gogh painted certain pictures in the area, but some sites are completely unrecognisable.
