Worth a visit on the way to the amphitheatre. Had an event there when we attended. Some shade. No cafe.

You can see almost as much of this amazing relic from outside the railings as you can inside. Performances are undoubtedly more spectacular, but I was underwhelmed. It's not a place that I would pay to visit on its own but you can buy a...More

A beautiful Roman Theater. It is still used today for concerts and outdoor events during the busy summer months.

This is not up to some of the similar theatres in Greece or Turkey but should be part of your walking tour of Arles. In fact you can get very good views from outside through the numerous railings. Entering does not add much more. When...More

This theatre is impressive even if there are both bigger and better preserved ones in other places. Much can be seen through the fence without paying for entrance, but I would still recommend going in to be able to see all including the views from...More

An impressive site, you can view the old theatre from outside or enter the compound. Nice that it is still being used as a show area to this day.

This theater is being used again for performances, so there is a mix of old and modern, but you can get a sense of what it was like in the Roman era to attend a show here.

This place is cool if you like history of Roman ruins. We were on a guided tour and this was one of our stops. We were not able to get inside the theatre as other people did, but it is worth a visit.
