We were thrilled to find the works Picasso had specifically donated to Arles , and they were fascinating. Really nice and interesting museum.

This is a fairly small gallery in a lovely old building. The collection itself is small but quite wide-ranging. Worth a visit but you may not wish to linger too long unless you’re a serious art enthusiast.

Loved this museum, great range of art covering many eras and genres all presented in a wonderful building. The modern renovations made to create serviceable galleries were tasteful and discreet.

This is quite an odd gallery, in that rooms go from older to contemporary paintings and back; they are housed in a rather lovely building. Picasso held an exhibition in Arles and in one room there are posters and some of his art from that...More

The size of this museum is manageable in that you can see everything in one visit. I enjoyed the Picasso exhibit on the first floor.

Historical museum worth a visit. The exhibits are getting better year after year. This museum was once a primary residence of the artist of the same name. Check the website in advance for exhibits of interest. The best exhibits I’ve seen there were during the...More

Close to our hotel. The Reattu was included in our city pass so we spent about 30 minutes here. It felt like they had a little of a lot of things- somewhat disjointed.

Jacques Reattu was a local Arles artist from the late 18th, early 19th century. His paintings are interesting but I wouldn't have seen them without the incentive of being in the building itself (on the shore of the mighty Rhone river) and seeing the Picasso...More
