A beautiful cathedral from the outside rather dark within a lot of the windows have not been replaced due to the WW2 bombings which how it remained so unscathed is amazing. However a peaceful place to sit with many smaller chapels within for dedications. Entry...More

Amazing church, with vitrages, impressive even for the kids. No entrance fees, and no fuss about anything. Simply enjoyable.

This is an exquisite cathedral. You’ll wander through in about twenty minutes. For me, it was most difficult to not burst out AVE MARIA in the center or the Cathedral...I sang here once before, and many others in Europe, but I digress... This particular day,...More

We did not visit the inside of the cathedral because it was closed at night. But we did see the light show that is on the wall at night, based on local history, accompanied with music. Recommended! And its free.

A real gem. We have seen it twice. The first time was at night when we just came across it almost by accident. There was a multimedia show on the facade about the history of Normandy. I was captured. The second time was at noon...More

This is an amazing cathedral and the nightly light show was actually quite impressive. It was the first like it that we saw, although we saw others during our 5 week stay in France/Belgium. The light show tells the history of Rouen with music and...More

The intricate stonework which looks like lace work is so beautiful and impressive. Standing in a large square the cathedral looks majestic. There is ongoing structural work to the right, but this does not detract from the imposing cathedral.
