The actual spot she was burned at the stake is at a sign right behind the cross in the church gardens surrounded by some bushes. The entire town is a must do and takes you back in time

This is a very uniquely designed Church well worth a visit. Much of the interior is timber, and there are some excellent large stained glass windows.

The modern building suppose to resemble a boat, but the best part is the inside where the stained glass windows were salvaged from the old church and installed at eye level and you have the whole place to yourself if you are there early enough,...More

Spent the day in Rouen, from Paris. What a beautiful city, even in the rain and cold. Walked all over. Saw many churches and went in the Joan of Arc Museum, which I would implore anyone to do. The cafes, shops just help you drink...More

This church is a modern disaster to the eyes. The remains of the old church are more appealing. From the outside it is difficult to tell where the covered market ends and the church begins. Inside you get the same peace and quite that the...More

The outsides design is modern (?) and rather strange. The key is inside where the 15th century stained glass is from a church that was destroyed in WW2. Instead of looking up from a distance, the placement is at eye level and close so you...More

The exterior of the church is awful. It does not look at all spiritual, more like a tourist information centre. The interior is another matter, It is beautiful and spiritual and the 16th century glass is stunning. I sat for an age studying the glass and...More

Phenomenal visit on Saturday 27th May. Building inside is tremendous (not to mention the tributes outside to Joan of Arc). Beautiful interior, organ supporting fantastic small choir led by an English conductor- very moving - sound superb. Visitors applauded. Building itself, though 1979, very fitting...More

Worth a visit. Beautiful stain glass windows. Just takes a few minutes to see this very modern church amidst the flower and food markets.

This catholic church built in 1979 has beautiful stained glass windows and an usual design built to commemorate the life of Joan of Arc who is highly celebrated in Rouen. They have beautiful flower markets just nearby.
