Beautiful character filled French town set around a small boat harbour near the mouth if the Seine river. There are many nice restaurants and shops which make for a relaxing afternoon of sightseeing and dining. It is a must visit if ever in Normandy.
We spent a few hours in Honfleur and could have stayed longer. It's a beautiful, harborside town with lots of shops, restaurants, etc. Just walking the streets here was such a treat. Took lots of pictures.
The trip would have been excellent if the commentary had been in English as well as French . The only part that was spoken in English was that relating to the Pont de Normandie. Other than that, the rest of the commentary was in French...More
