An impressive collection on a historic site, but what really sets the museum apart is its narrative. The Normandy Museum honors the significance of the Normandy landings without glorifying them. It paints a nuanced and well-balanced picture and doesn't fail to shed light on sensitive...More

A truly excellent day trip from Paris! The memorial was super informative. So many exhibits and items to see from the French resistance to the liberation by the Allies.

Do not be fooled by it’s name- this is so much more than a memorial. It is a museum which teaches about the human casualties of WWII- citizens as well as soldiers. We wish we had planned to spend more time there. There are many...More
