If you're wandering around Toulouse as we did you'll likely come across this memorial. It's on a route between various gardens/parks not so far from the main tourist areas of the city center. Worth a look.

A historical monument is on the center of the road once you come out of Francois Verdier station and worth seeing it.

Stumbled on this monument by accident. It's a very respectful monument of the soldiers who died fighting.

This monument is in the centre of a boulevard. It is worth stopping to look around it, as it has a nice bas-relief sculpture that depicts heads of soldiers from World War 1. The arch was inaugurated in 1928.

Really appreciated this monument, interesting to those interested in history and myself from the artistic point of view. Its good to do a bit of background reading on it as there is a story behind its form.
