On the other side of the river from most attractions. The space is amazing and they can really go to town here with BIG objects. If you like modern art and installations and video then this is the place for you.

This Historic place inside the Park Jardin Raymond VI has regular exhibitions, a restaurant at the back. From there you have a great view on the barrage in the Garonne, including water power facility

The current exhibitions have the feel of a junkyard with some hidden gems. But the building is well worth the visit - an outstanding space to showcase both intimate works and large installations. Great cafe too!

Visited this museum hoping to see some modern abstract art but did not really get what we came for. Glad it was free the day we visited.

I'm glad that I didn't allow the one-star reviews to put me off visiting les Abattoirs. I found my visit to be enjoyable with several particularly interesting pieces on display. The facility covers four floors: the ground level, an upper level and two basement levels....More
