A fascinating glimpse into a forgotten world made even more interesting by the fact that is all the work of one person over 40+years. Well worth a detour from the main sights of the city and would be brilliant for young children. Museum is run...More

This place thought quite small will keep you fascinated for an hour or so. You will not believe the detail on these miniature displays which faithfully reproduce a Parisian home of the post war era. Really the level of detail is incredible and really worth...More

This display of miniature living was the culmination of approx. 40 years work, by a lady whose obsession was to re-create her vast childhood home in Paris. Her dexterity is to be applauded and each room is shown in a different vast display case. However, for...More

Thank you for your appreciation but it is necessary for us to undertake some development work in low season, tidy the garden, clean windows and museum ... you came to work and we are sorry. As for the reconstituted house, it reflects faithfully the atmosphere...More

The exhibition of works by Annie Jaures was detailed and faithful to the period of the time. Unfortunately, many of the display cases were unlit as bulbs had not been replaced and dust and cobwebs covered many of the items. The upstairs room and garden...More

The programmed obsolescence of the lamps makes that three windows are extinct, in the middle of August it is difficult to disassemble the windows! We are the first to be sorry! As for the garden, it has a charm that delights our visitors precisely by...More

We visited based on reviews we had read here on TA, and were not disappointed. Unlike anything we have seen before. Our 12 year old daughter enjoyed it as well, even finding "her favourite" rooms. Incredible that this is all from the artist's memory. We...More

This delightful display of miniature rooms (look out for the mousetrap) in all their details from her childhood near Paris. We went at the beginning of March 2017 and her son-in-law greeted us and explained that they couldn't just keep her decades of work to...More

Definitely take a little stroll across the bridge and see a 40-year tribute to a woman's memories of her family and its home. I'm a big fan of miniatures and doll houses, and the detail in each and every room is mind boggling. I had...More

Well worth the short walk across the Vieux Pont. A total gem. Unlike anything we have seen before. Kids enthralled as well as adults. And all from one woman's memory. Simply incredible. See it and support it if you can.

This little museum is fascinating! Loved all of the little vignettes. You can see the love pouring out of this woman's memories from childhood. If you are in Albi, take the walk across the bridge and pay them a visit!

I visited this museum with a group of Americans. It was my first visit here. We were enthralled with the miniature vignettes and rooms all created by one very imaginative and creative lady. The rooms on the ground depict her childhood home. We were fortunate...More
