On Saturdays there are lots of weddings, but we went in just after one had left and it didn't seem to be a problem. Nice enough cathedral but not as impressive as a lot we have seen.

This church has a nice facade, but the inside is very simple. I was really expecting a fantastic church with more decor and and ornaments

Originally built in the 11th cent it was badly restored in the 19th cent The Hugenots had taken over the cathedral and removed all the papist idolatry. In the 19th cent the restores brought back the papist idolatry.

The present building is layered and has techniques from almost every building era. The church is dark and take away from the overall beauty. It houses some significant art works as well. Not sure why it is so low on the list.

Outside, the cathedral is impressive. Because closing at noon we could not get inside. The city is small and this is one of the sights, so it's worth seeing.

Lovely building, great paintings, windows. Well worth a visit, walk round the back of the altar and view the high altar through the golden gates.... stunning.

Nimes is a very small town but it is well preserved and has many things to see and enjoy by walk. All of them Roman historic sites.

Compared to the history, architecture and decor of other churches and cathedrales we have visited, this is very plain
