We came to this place on a sunny day. The canal is so big it looks like a lake. Perfect place to sit on the side of it, take a relaxing nap and enjoy the natural beauty.

This lake offers a nice view of the palace. Its access is totally free. On the flip side this place is wet and humid, close to railway track, so not really quiet. It used to be a swamp. This lake is named after the swiss...More

For a quiet walk not so far away from Castle palace. A so beautiful place. Splendid point of view through "pièces d'eau des suisses" until palace.

The Swiss Pool (or lake) is a nice area to visit after the Versailles castle's. It is mainly visited by locals. Suggestion: do not stay at the Southern end of the lake as it is close to the main railway tracks.
