I discovered Quartier Saint-Louis neighbourhood by accident whilst strolling along the streets of Versailles. The cathedral of Saint Louis is the main attraction however there are some lovely rocaille & neoclassical facades scattered around the market square & cathedral. Well worth the effort to find.

Quarter Saint Louis is a historic neighborhood in Versailles. One must take a walk through this quarter to see amazing historic monuments such as saint louis cathedral and jeu de paume room. Amazing place to take a stroll in the evening.

An elegant area with some lovely little bistros and shops leading onto the grand boulevards and attractions of this set-piece city. There's a cathedral and many quaint old squares with wonderful architecture.

We discovered the block by chance while strolling around before taking the train back to Paris. The buildings' architecture is really beautiful. The area is full of shops and boutiques. Worth seeing as we still has some energy after a day visiting Versailles castle's wonders.

It's the old part of the city, and seems to keep its Roi-soleil-period charme. There are nice building and small antiquities shops, squares with small gardens, everything very well kept.
