interesting fact: mirror crafstmen were assassinated by the venetian govt for giving away mirror making secrets the french, when louis xiv lured them into making these mirrors

Once I entered this room I was just speechless. I couldn’t believe how fascinating this looked. It’s by far the best part of the Versailles palace.

Beautiful but so crowded with people taking pictures that make the visit unpleasant and chaotic. Most of the furniture are fake.

Go early, or late, to avoid it being too crowded. You can always retrace your steps to see everything afterwards.
