Somewhere betweenSainte-Chapelle Chapeland Notre-Dame Cathédrale, lies Place Louis Lépine. The home of one of my most loved, most visited markets in Paris. Marché aux Fleurs. As the name suggests this market specialises in flowers, as well as a wide selection of other plants and all sorts of garden knick-knacks....More

The market is next to Notre Dame Paris, only weekend morning. Few shops with flowers, plans and birds with cages. We have picked up Florence dried lavender bags and savon de Marseille as gifts for friends.

One of my favourite places in Paris especially in spring. I love walking down the aisles taking in the colours and discovering plants I never knew existed and this is where I buy most of my plants. It is a great place to shoot pictures....More

Beautiful and colorful flower market that is located on the Ile de la Cite in central Paris. Very historic area and a pleasure to see such a wonderful display of flowers.

When you come out of Sainte Chapelle or Palais of Justice, just opposite you will see an open area, I believe it is pedestrian mall with the metro stop Cite. Walk in and see different shops, coffee shops and this lovely plant and flower market....More

We visited it on Sunday, where it is also a bird market, and while at first we were excited to see and hear all those birds, it quickly became clear that money is well weighed over animal welfare. Way too many birds are crammed into...More

There were so many plant and flower varieties, a lovely place to stroll through and have a look. Unfortunately not allowed to take any photos though. Still a relaxing place to go through and be amongst nature.

This was a pleasant surprise wandering along the Seine. I definitely recommend a stop. The soaps are quite exquisite.

This very colorful flower market is a pleasant diversion when visiting the many sites on Ile de la Cite. The also sell plants. Very popular, good prices.

Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,
