Wooded area on the banks of the Seine River (rive rauche), very close to the botanical garden. ideal to rest after a walk arond the city. Tino Rossi was a very popular singer in the twentieth century.

Amazingly beautiful gardens set alongside the Seine with views of Notre Dame, IIe Saint-Louis With Park Square Barye in sight. Plenty of areas to sit and relax and watch the cruise boats float by, have a bite to eat and watch the locals. The gardens...More

This is more than just a walkway along the river. It is a beatuifully planted space with many sculptures. You can take several different routes that keep wandering across each other. Best way to get from J. des Plantes to Note Dame

Sometimes I've seen singers performing for free in this lovely park on the Seine. Sometimes the park has been submerged in a Seine flood. Always lovely views of the city. It's a new park.

We walked along this lovely area down by the banks of the Seine on our way to the Jardin Plantes. We entered at the Arab Institute and strolled along admiring the modern sculptures set among mature plants. It is very well tended.

This garden provides one of my favorite short strolls in Paris. It follows the Seine for about half a mile on the Left Bank between Jardin des Plantes and Institut du Monde Arabe. The relatively narrow strip is not accessible to vehicles, so I never...More

We stumbled across the Jardin Tino Rossi quite by accident. It is situated on the southern bank of the Seine, east of Notre Dame, between Le Monde Arabe and Les Jardins des Plantes. The garden is not large, and consists of curving paths and beds...More

by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
