I had no kitchen on this trip (hotel stay rather than apartment) so I was limited. The market, however, is not. Lots of meat and fish vendors, cheeses and produce. The market stretches on for several blocks. Oh and I saw some beautiful cut flowers....More

Went here on a Wednesday and had amazing roast chicken and potatoes. Also loved the cheese stalls and flowers were fabulous. You can buy souvenirs here as well. A great example of a typical market. Fresh and delicious foods.

Open Market Also Called the Marché du Pont de l'Alma, near Paris. Walk across the Alma bridge and turn slightly left up Ave. du President Wilson - you can't miss it . Open on Wensday and Saturday from 7.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
