For big fans of star Dalida, this small bust statue is required. Set in a lovely square on top of Montmartre. The favorite activity is to rub her body parts.

I really liked this area because it had much less tourists than other parts of Montmartre. It felt really idyllic and quiet. If the weather was any better it probably would have been more crowded! Still it's quite nice.

Dalida was a disco diva, an icon in France and Western Europe. She had TV specials where she sang in front of cute dancing boys. People love to come to this statue and rub her you-know-whats. High camp.

I'm not sure what was the reason behind the shininess of this bronze statue of Dalida but to each its own. The statue wasn't that old and Dalida was a singer who lived till 1987. So this isn't like those statues that you rub for...More

Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
