My hotel was near St Georges Metro, Main attractions could be easily reached within minutes. The area is very good for shopping were you can find a lot of famous brands. A variety of restaurants are also found in this area.

One of my favorite sections in Paris, home to lots of theaters and the lovely homes where theater stars lived in the 19th Century. Also home to great restaurants and good places to stroll. My favorite is the area around Square St. George.

We really enjoyed the 9th Arrondissement and it's access to public transport, shops and access to Paris's old city heart. Would highly recommend the location of the arrondissement.

The area around the Opera House is one of the most congested in the city. The Galleries Lafayette is an amazing shopping center but it can tend to be claustrophobic. The whole area is well worth visiting with lots of great shopping, cafes, etc. Even...More

This Arrondissement is one of our favorites. The hotels, Opera, Galeries Lafayette, Printemps, restaurants etc. It is beautiful and lovely to stay and experience. Transportation to and from the area is simple and direct.

This is a beautiful district of Paris, where shopaholics would have the time of their lives. For the rest of us, though, it's possible to enjoy this district by strolling through its beautiful and classic buildings.

why go? because its the center of Paris, a melting pot: at the same time popular, hipster, business, conventional, tourist, trendy, typical, residential young, old, poor, rich, cool, old fashioned, jewish, muslim, catholic... I think this is Paris in all its colors
