Located on the right bank of the Seine it hosts Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris, city hall and numerous parks and Place de la Bastille.

This area contains Paris's city hall ( hotel de ville) and Paris's oldest square; the historic and beautiful Place des Vosges. Also the Centre Georges Pompidou is located in this district.

This arrondissement isn't as fancy as other ones but not as expensive and there is beautiful architecture

The 4 eme is pleasant and have nice shops and streets but some how lacks the zest and energy you find in other arrondisments in comparison to 8,9, and 10 eme for example. Overall recommended

Where in the world do you find over 200 independent bookellers? Paris is still a culture for those who seek.Paris' 4th arrondissement (including the Beaubourg, Marais, and Ile St-Louis neighborhoods) is popular with both tourists and locals for very good reason.
