The Wall for Peace is near the Eiffel Tower and across from the Ecole Militaire. It’s designed to encourage peace and it does that just by visiting. Unfortunately it’s surrounded by tall fences with the Eiffel Tower in the background and I can under why...More

Visited here 6 yrs ago and revisited now as part of a walk to Eiffel Tower. A monument to peace with languages of the world inscribed was a nice idea. It now looks awful!! It is surrounded by a high wire fence and overgrown and...More

Thought it is not well know about the meaning of the structure and the columns to the public, at least it served its purpose to promote peace to all peoples of the world. The best place to exhibit because Eiffel Tower is the most visited...More

This was a great idea but the structure has been vandalized on a regular basis and is enclosed in a tall fence, surrounded by grass and weeds two feet high. This is why we cannot have nice things.

The Wall for Peace is between the Ecole Militaire and the Eiffel Tower. Architecturally and as a sculpture it seems to work, but as it is roughly fenced off, for no apparent reason or duration, it currently looks quite sad.

Nice monument, aiming at the peace among peoples. Besides all, it also provides a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. Definitely worths the visit.

Fenced off, graffitied on, boring, but nice from afar. Do not take time out of your day to go and see it, but if you're in the neighbourhood, it's alright for a photo or two.

We have visited Paris and the Champs de Mars several times and each time stopped to enjoy the Wall for Peace. Not this time! Some of the glass is missing and others smashed. The grass is growing around it and it is blocked off. I hope...More

Wow. I read one of the reviews saying how thought provoking the Mur de la Paix was....IMO it is an absolute eyesore. It is not at all well kept up, overgrown with weeds, and should have followed its' original intent - i.e. be TEMPORARY! Some...More
