I first saw this amazing building about 14 years and and had to go back again on this trip. It is so remarkable that something so ancient has withstood the test of time. Don't forget to look around the neighborhood... equally as impressive. Being here...More

We went here for a piano concert. They run one or two a week, not always the same pianist and so not always the same program. I'm not big on churches and so can't comment on its worthiness as a church visit, but the accoustics...More

The interior of this church is something you must absolutely see! In Paris 5th arrondissement (district) it is easy to find. Unfortunately, it is also easy to miss. At No. 79 Rue Galande, it is situated where the street runs into Rue Saint Jacques which...More

I would recommend this as a must see visit. Beautiful old church set in an interesting history and a very attractive garden.. There are concerts performed many evenings, I m just sorry that I did not get to see one. Highly recommended for a visit.

This church regularly presents performances by various classical musicians, though it's most noticeable for the crumbling ruin wall (see pic). It's located in the Latin Quarter and the streets all around it are really small, sort of village style streets worth taking a stroll around.

The history of this church is surprising, as is its age and its many manifestations. What is for certain is that it has been a place of worship for millennia and, if you are lucky you may stumble into one of its Sunday concerts -...More

You need to bone up on the history of this small and ancient church before visiting; but the church also hosts evening concerts if you wish an alternative purpose to visit. Or just take your lunch baguette and sit on one of the benches in...More
