This is within the old city walls and is one of the oldest parts of Paris, built over a couple of times. Now the center of the fabric and fashion trade, but this may be changing as the cool people move in.

I believe that this is the oldest passage in Paris. It is very narrow and when we visited the roof was being repaired and it was very dark. The shops are very down market.

The Place du Caire is located in the north of the 2nd arrondissement in Paris. Nt particularly a tourist attraction or a place of interest, it is at the intersection of Rue Aboukhir and Rue du Caire.
