We got lucky to get in with zero queue that day as it was the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and everyone was probably on TV. So we had the whole museum almost private! Subjects are interesting but I believe they should...More

French or English is obligatory If you decide to go there be prepared to read. A lot. In English or in French. Even though there are some interactive exponats, mostly it is all about information, delivered in a contemporary and interesting manner. When we were...More

Informative, interesting, fun. Lots of presentations during the day, for all ages. We went for the Louis Pasteur exhibit, but ended up spending a whole day at this wonderful museum of sciences. Only bemol, if you plan to go with kids: explanations are in French,...More

This is a science museum for the locals or people that speak French. After wandering around for a while we realized without being able to understand French there was nothing for us to enjoy.

We set aside half a day to explore this area as we usually spend 3-4h at other science museums. I must say, after 30min-45min, we were bored. The panels and exhibits are presented in French. There's a lack of staff presence. Everything looks dated. It...More

The hands on experiences were awesome and very engaging. The animations were not in English so it was hard to participate but the different sections were self explanatory.

If I were somewhere between the ages of 6-14, and spoke fluent French, and was interested in science whatsoever, this would be the place to go. Boundless amounts of interactive exhibits, though all in French.

I remember this museum from when I was a child. It is attractive for children who like science, but the exhibits are a bit dated and the experiments done live also belong from the last century. Perhaps good for children aged 6 or 7, but...More

I love science museums and this should have been one of the best. Compared with other museums there are a lot of lectures and demonstrations and these have a lot of talking in French - and I mean a lot. Two short demonstrations in half...More

A great experience on a cold and rainy morning. We walked in with the intention to spend only limited time, but ended up in enjoying the experiments for more than a couple of hours. It's fun and really worth the visit.

As far as I know, there are no combined tickets for the Palais de la Decouverte and other museums. Children under 6 can go in for free. There are no tours in french or in English. There are "demonstrations" in french (of... More
