Care du Nord is a big station , very crowded with people who is going on trains . The building is very impressive . The Eurostar train to London is one of the trains using that station .

You can take the metro from your station. check out on google maps. gare du parcs des expositions to gare du nord

If you are taking the Eurostar you need at least 2 hours. You have to go through French immigration, then British immigration, then bag and body scanning.
