Paris is so unsafe. Almost got robbed by a gang on the RER B train. 3 men circle you tight so you can’t get passed then a 4th shows you a bracelet asking if it’s yours whilst 2 squeeze you in and the 3rd robs...More

There are lots of destinations from this place but I got the RER to the airport. It’s big but easy to find your way round. A bit frustrating that the lift didn’t work as I had a heavy case. Perhaps the best bit is the...More

The main station to North France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany and the UK has an eerie feel to it. Shady characters walking around, disorganized place and few but inefficient sign posts.

Well, alright, Train Station of the North! But none the less, the first time I went to Paris we stayed across the road from this beautiful building. But you always seem to end up here at some point in your travels! Of course, if you...More

Busy train station. Many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The area is not always safe. Gare du Nord is known to be unsafe even if it is now better than 10 years ago. Eurostar and Thalys leave from this station.

We didn't spend any time here on arrival off Eurostar train but coming back we found the facilities and service really good. The left luggage was quick and easy to operate, the toilets were spotless and the food in the restaurant in the main concourse...More

The train station is very busy, with a lot of trains coming and going. Combine this with the metro lines below, and it can be a very crowded place. Most of the signage is pretty good, and there is a large variety of shops throughout.

Last Fall we traveled first from Paris to London, then from London to Lille, then from Lille to Paris. All by train. I booked all of the trips well before the trip through Eurostar's web page. All of the trips were... More

Have a look at their website. We didn’t find the staff there to be too helpful to be honest. Also, watch your belongings as pick pockets are rife

You get trains to Lourdes from Paris Montparnasse not Gare Du Nord. It's about 4-5 hour trip. The Trainline Europe web site is your best bet or try SNCF web site.
