Pickpockets on lookout everywhere sending calls to gang mates outside station/ metro. Intinmidating. Cannot proceed without walking through groups of gangs. We had all our valuables stolen within 20 mins of gettingoff Eurostar. Police not interested. On our return we caught a bus back to...More

Arrived at 1715hrs on a Thursday and yes it was busy. Straight off the Eurostar and away into Paris with no issues. However, full with travellers and not those you’re warned of. Outside was very busy with the station front an assault on the senses...More

The Eurostar Terminal is up on the first floor. There is nowhere to sit there as they don't allow anyone in before their check-in time so you have to wait with everyone else downstairs. The information bureau is pretty good. Lots of dodgy characters hanging...More

This is where you will arrive on the Eurostar or Thalys train. It's a big old classic train station with some recent upgrades Lots of the suburban trains come in here, so it's very busy. Lines for cabs can be very long. Places to eat.

This station is a nightmare for visitors because of the constant threat of pickpockets. The concourse is very busy with crowds everywhere which makes it even more difficult to protect oneself from attack. We frequently travel by train, but find this station to be one...More

We arrived yesterday at Gare du Nord from London on Eurostar and needed Euros to get RER tickets. Not so easy! We didn't find any obvious ATM machine in the station. When we attempted to get RER tickets from the numerous machines using our card,...More
