Actually visited this church twice during our visit. The first was as part of a bike tour and the guide gave us some great insights into the artworks within. The second was on Sunday where we actually attended mass and stayed behind for the pipe...More

this is the place where Da Vinci Code was filmed. So this is one reason to visit it if you like this kind of atraction. The church is also lovely and a calm place to visit. The famous Rose Line mark is there.

Located in the middle of a very chic area of designer shops, this is not a beautiful church. But others love it, in spite of its unharmonious towers. Nice square in front.

This is yet another Paris knock out. A beautiful living-history church. Massive. Imposing. Amazing paintings and sculptures. Much history, but maintenance, especially outside, could be better. Donations always welcome. The Paris churches compare well with the Rome ones. Highly recommended.

This is a renaissance church, at least in layout, as it took 100s of year to complete it. Inside there are murals by Delacroix detailing rather unknown parts of the bible. There is a handy information panel (French and English) explaining what you see. The...More

Step inside this lovely church, a French historic landmark since 1905, and in the first chapel to the right are two magnificent Delacroixs recently restored. The chapel was inaugurated in the summer, 1861 but the murals had been damaged over time. Ten restorers under French...More

In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic
and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is
dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops,
ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
