We went on a Sunday and it happened to be drizzling and there were hardly any people so we had the zoo to ourselves . Our son loved the hours we spent there and the food in the restaurants is ok. The animals seem to...More
There's a lot to see in this zoo. One can follow different paths and there are shows at specific times. There's also a large quiet space for resting and benches/tables along the different paths. The only issue is that food choices are somewhat limited and...More
The best zoopark for family I have ever seen! Animals walk where ever they want and look pretty good, healthy and strong. Interesting thing: species of one zone live in the same area. Hourly feeding is great idea, by the way!
Sad that there was no gorillas or elephants but managed to get some excellent photos of the lion pride, a bit small compared to others but very well kept.
Signs need to be French and English.
And the canteen was way too expensive.

We sat watching the baboons play for a good 45 mins.
It seems the zoo gets busier late afternoon but was easy...More
There are a lot of small animals in the park. Bird part and tropical part are very interesting. I was expecting more big animals, as it is known as the one of the greatest Zoo in Europe. There are no elephants, par example.
I have been to zoos in the US, Canada, & London, England...but this was my first time in Paris, so I had to see two zoos there. This zoo was the highlight of my time in Paris. I have to say, Paris has wonderful architecture...More
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighbourhood where real Parisians make
