This is a unique museum in Paris and a great place for hunters . It is open all year long and in the marais district.

There's not so much about hunting as about animals themselves and their relationships with humans. I also enjoyed the building in which the collection is housed. Especially liked the sections on stags, unicorns, falcons, and birds. It's just an interesting journey through the collection. The...More

After years of being "Paris hidden gem", it is fair to say that the secret has been revealed. Expect lines of 20 to 30 minutes to enter to this museum. The place is charming and quirky. It is not about stuffed animals (although you will...More

The museum shows are fascinating because the curators select and invite a visual artist to augment their collection turning the exhibition into a fascinating and captivating experience. Kids are welcome.

Housed within room after elegant rooms are a magnificent collection of items related to hunting, but in the grand manner. Take your time as the variety and number of items is immense, while the scale is actually quite intimate. A hidden secret of this great...More

Very eclectic mix in this small Museum that includes lots of stuffed animals and hunting trophies. Also beautiful old hunting rifles and their gear. Modern « Art works «  are scattered throughout in somewhat incongruous fashion. Kids friendly.

Fascinating museum brilliantly curated. Attention to detail is faultless. So much more than just taxidermy, and so much better than the Natural History Museum too (I was irritated by their day to night lighting and major neglect of basic exhibit maintenance). I would thoroughly recommend,...More

Yes this place is a bit odd and full of taxidermy animals, but its the perfect size to explore in an hour or so, kids are fascinated by it and I recommend it to everyone because it is off the beaten path of those other...More

My teen daughters and I visited this museum two weeks ago and were totally floored. It's small, quirky and incredible! I've visited Paris many times and am a museum junkie, but had never been here or even heard of it. While we were there, we...More

We went during the week. I think it is a quiet place- since hunting is no longer a desirable activity, it doesn't get a lot of customers-which is a pity becuase it's more like a natural history museum.Nothing gory etc.
