Always excellent exhibitions around sculptures, modest but very didactical, and the spaces are very pleasant because of the scenography, which explains the artistic process.

My interest and knowledge of sculpture is rather limited - rather, WAS limited. I went to the museum at the recommendation of a friend and was immediately struck by how overwhelming the process of sculpting a bronze can be. The gallery is well appointed, and...More

This is a free museum in the middle of a residential area. There were almost nobody there when we visited. The museum was the artist's home and studio, with a beautiful little garden in the back and in the front, with artists' work dispersed in...More

So we all know and love Rodin his work and his museum. But very few know his associate Bourdelle but should. His Musee is less frequented but worth the visit. The location is his original workshop and it’s been left so you feel like your...More

We enjoyed visiting the museum and were very pleased that it was free (except for the special exhibit). His sculptures are quite interesting and there is also a video that explains his process. We were there for nearly an hour and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

My wife and I were in Paris in November. We had another outstanding experience at the Musee Bourdelle. The Musee Bourdelle is one of our favorite Paris museums. Antoine Bourdelle is one of the best sculpture artists and the museum is fantastic.

Antoine Bourdelle was a student of Rodin and a teacher of Giacometti. This small museum gives you a good overview of his career and art work. The sculptures ranges in size from small to gigantic. Entering his studio was like going back in time. There...More

Attractive free museum with very pleasant gardens. You do not have to be a sculpture enthusiast to enjoy this museum. In good weather the gardens, with their statues, are very pleasant to visit and relax in, especially as the museum does not attract a large...More

I'll admit that I did not know Bourdelle before going here, but the quality of the museum itself is spectacular. I was there during the Balenciaga exhibition, which was so well done and surprisingly worked alongside the sculptures. The museum has a bunch of different...More
