If you are having trouble speaking French, don't worry. it's not your fault. It's the fault of the French language.Luckily, there is an American to explain it all to you. Why an American? Because whatever the level of shameful French you speak, he's been there. And if he made it through, so can you. By the end of the show, you probably won't speak better French but at least you'll understand why.

So a couple of things to know about this show. First, there will be an annoying opening act. Second, Sebastian is only on for about an hour. Third, his show is entirely in French (so don't go if you are looking for any English). Fourth,...More

If you are a show advertising and catering to visitors, perhaps one shouldn't insult them? On a chilly, dark Paris night, the venue would only admit those who bought drinks at the bar. I did. The rest of the crowd was left standing on the...More

Funny, entertaining and well worth a visit! The show had me laughing throughout and I would highly recommend it. It is located on a moored boat on the Sein which is a great experience in itself too!

As Sebastian's opening act, a French woman named Swan, was downright insulting towards Americans in the most tiresomely cliché way. If you thought you were coming here to hear comedic observations about the French from the point of view of an American in Paris, prepare...More

Woody Allen is now up-to-date, funny and anti-depressant! Sebastian Marx is better than the drugs given by a pharmacist ! Let's go and have fun!

I understand that comedians change their material from night to night. I can only assume that is why I found several reviews on this site that said Mr. Marx's presentation was fun and acceptable for the whole family. This was definitely NOT the case the...More
