Please, if you’re not in good shape physically do not take this. This was not a leisurely walk as they advertise and we had a hard time co pelting all the uphill walking and stairs climbing at fast pace.

The tour was handled wonderfully by our guide, Bruce of Sandeman Tours. His deep knowledge of the history of the city and of this area particularly provided a great context for the star of the show - the beautiful Sacre Couer.

Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colours, and
styles which changes from one street to another. Ride
the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the
steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the
Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The
church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano
bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers
thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy
