I love all of the covered passages in Paris and have spent much time there. This one is not gorgeous, but is very pretty and historic and full of unique shops and cafes.

If you are in the area or have already done all the big Paris sights, this is worth a look. But shouldn't be a priority. The architecture is more of a draw than the shops themselves, but we enjoyed window shopping (shops were quite expensive)....More

This is a lovely little passage with interesting art stores, book stores, a nice embroidery store and a little cafe to sit outside and watch the passers by.

I love these old passage and visited this one as part of a self-- guided walking tour. It is very pretty and one that I would recommend. I was pleased to see that my favourite embroidery shop is still here.

Worth a visit if you are in the area. Wouldn't travel for it though. Really nice old building. You will get off the Main Street. I recommend the cozy little book shop a bit in.

Verdeau passage in the neighborhood of main boulevards, named after its creator. Built in 1847, it is one of the most charming walkways of the capital. It is located in the extension of two other well-known passages: Panoramas and Jouffroy. These sites form all three...More

We visited the Passage Verdeau twice as most of the shops are not open on a Sunday. We had a lovely interlude in the umbrella shop, very interesting and the owner is a delightful gentleman. There are lots of interesting shops in the vicinity, including...More

I was getting shown around Paris by a friend and she showed me this place, which was cool because I would never had found it if I was just wandering around on my own. The passage has that old and elegant vibe and it’s a...More

It is good to get off the busy street for a change in atmosphere. The narrow passage evokes more intimate atmosphere and people pay a different, more individualized type of attention to the variety of stores the passage offers. We enjoyed exploring it.

I like this very old fashioned passage not least because here you will find the shop "Le Bonheur des dames" which sells beautiful embroidery and cross stitch kits. I enjoy visiting this shop and have bought a kit.
