I try and stay between the 6 and 7th as the walking is easy and they share many of the same traits and boarders all my favorite places and neighborhoods.

The Church of St. Germain des Pres is wonderful. Well worth a visit. Many good restaurants. It also felt much safer which is the opposite of what it used to be. Amazing.

the latin quarter is the right place for finding these small boutiques. try rue de bac and its soroundings
